Backpacks for the Homeless
Thank you to all that have donated!!
Our friends at Backpacks for the Homeless RVA have sent their thanks and appreciation for the peanut butter, jelly and ziplock bags that you all donated at Shrek Jr. the Musical auditions! With your help we were able to collect 21 jars of peanut butter, 13 containers of jelly, and 8 boxes of ziplock bags!
We have asked them if there is another need that we can help with and have been told that they have a need for MEN’S SOCKS and TUNA PACKETS.
We will collect these items through the run of Shrek Jr. at rehearsals and shows. Please consider picking up tuna packets with your weekly grocery order (they are usually $1 or less) and/or a pack of men’s socks on your next Target or Walmart run and we will get them to our people at Backpacks for the Homeless!! Thank you for joining us in supporting our homeless community!
