IN MEMORY OF…

Broken Leg Theater is thrilled to introduce The Kenna Bartle Memorial Fund, established in loving memory of the late actress, dancer, and educator, Kenna Bartle. This fund is a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable individual who touched our lives with her passion for education and the arts. Kenna Bartle was a shining star in the world of theater and dance, whose talents graced the stage during BLT’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Perkinson Center for the Arts in February 2022. She portrayed Tom Snout and “The Wall,” leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of witnessing her performance.

Kenna was not only an exceptional artist; she was a devoted educator who, most recently, worked as a literacy instructional aide and a third-grade teacher at Beulah Elementary School. She firmly believed that every student should have the opportunity to pursue their passions.

The Kenna Bartle Memorial Fund has been founded to honor Kenna’s legacy by supporting students in their pursuit of theater arts and education through Broken Leg Theater. This fund will provide vital financial assistance to students who may need support to participate in BLT productions, workshops, and other educational offerings.

This fund is a testament to Kenna Bartle’s enduring spirit, her love for the arts, and her unwavering commitment to education. We invite the community to join us in honoring Kenna’s memory by contributing to The Kenna Bartle Memorial Fund, ensuring that her legacy continues to inspire future generations of artists and educators.
